Formerly trading as Clarkson Design & Drafting , our name change to AusDesign coincided with our initial presence on the internet in 1994.
AusDesign now enjoys the reputation of being one of Australias foremost online building design firms. One of the factors attributing to this success has been our ability to be available 6 days & evenings per week to all our clients, both locally & internationally.

Working from our home/office, situated in the Strezlecki Ranges of Gippsland in Southeastern Australia, enables us to be available to current & prospective clients during these hours to answer any questions they may have about future or ongoing projects.
In addition to this, emails are downloaded daily & we reply within 24 hours.

AusDesign utilises current cad computer technology in all its' initial design & completed drafting work. This enables us to not only produce exacting drawings but also enables us to produce design changes quickly at the design stage without the need for costly manual redraws.
All completed designs are saved to disk and filed under the clients name for future use _ ie extensions & renovations
Using this technology, we are able to provide substantial discount prices to previous Clients for ongoing projects.

Under local Victorian government regulations practitioners in the building industry are required to be registered with the ' Building Practitioners Board'.
AusDesign, through its principal Peter Clarkson, is registered under the act as an ' Architectural Drafting Practitioner' and formerly in conjunction as a 'Domestic Building Practitioner '. In addition to the qualifications required to attain registration, firms must provide a professional indemnity insurance policy to safe guard clients interests. Our policy provides cover for AU$1,000,000 Australia wide.

AusDesigns background in the australian building industry as registered builders since 1981, enables us to 'use a hands on approach' to all our design work. We do not draw lines on paper- our building experience combined with our design experience and the use of cad technology ensures all our designs are fully workable and accurate at all times.
