The FirstRate software, used predominantly throughout Victoria to provide assessments, can be used in 'QuickRate' mode to provide fast indications of energy efficiency at the initial design stage or in 'FirstRate' regulation mode to provide final reports for Council submission.

Page one: Summary page
Name and address details of client. Current and potential score (potential score is based on items selected in the Optimise screen)

Page two: Improvement options
Lists each item selected in the Optimise screen and the improvement in points it produces

Page three: Rating at eight orientations
Displays a rating for the dwelling should the current north windows be reoriented towards each of seven other orientations.

Page four: Detailed point scores
Shows strengths and weaknesses of the building by breaking down point scores from the main screen into their component eg. points associated with heat gain in summer through west windows can be seen.

Page five: Data list
A listing of all the data entered into the FirstRate. Only available in the FirstRate mode. Note that this page type may be printed over one or more pages.

Page six: 5 star compliance report
Lists key features of the house which can not be varied without affecting the rating.
