This application has a multitude of uses including the ability to be able to design verandahs, pergolas and the like to enable the control of sun penetration into rooms, entertaining areas etc. Use it to determine the suns position at any time of day in any location. It is a very handy tool and is used by us extensively in the design process for energy efficient homes.
